At the Indigenous Protector Movement, community safety is not just a value, it’s a sovereign responsibility. “Protector” is in our name because we believe in the inherent right of Indigenous people to defend our lands, our communities, and our relatives when systems fail to do so.
We stand in solidarity with grassroots Indigenous-led safety efforts, including Many Shields and the Little Earth Protectors, who are doing critical frontline work to keep our people safe. Through collaboration, mutual aid, and cultural grounding, we are building a future where safety is defined by community care, accountability, and self-determination.
